What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you make a donation or register for an event. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete event surveys, sign up for a raffle, or sign up to receive our blog. Information collected includes your name, address, email, phone number, and photo. 

When you register for a multi-day program event, we ask participants to voluntarily complete a survey that asks for information about your experience in church planting, your relationship to God, your church planting struggles, and sources of help. We also keep notes of stories, quotes, and responses shared during program sessions.      

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you to process your donation or event registration; contact you if you won a raffle; manage your account; program evaluation and execution; and, if you agree, to email, mail, or call you about future fundraising campaigns and events. If you attend an event and agree to have your photo taken, we may use it for digital marketing.

All program survey information and quotes are used for training present and future leaders and to enhance the experience for current and future participants.  

Who do we rent, sell, share, and store your information with (including third parties)?

We will not rent or sell your information to anyone.

We share your information with Parakaleo staff and leaders designated to process your donation or event registration. If you signed up for a raffle and win, we may post your name on social media platforms.  If necessary, we also share and store your information with independent contractors who assist Parakaleo with functions such as:

  • Billing & payment processing;

  • Database management;

  • Email services

  • Hosting and storage

  • Marketing

  • Fundraising

  • Programming

We will disclose program information to an emergency contact or personnel if a participant shows to be a threat to her safety or well-being or to that of someone else, including an expressed desire to harm herself or others.

How long will we keep your information?

We keep your data as long as needed for audit purposes or to provide personalized support, ensure continuity in our programs, and improve the quality of our services. These notes may include observations, feedback, and relevant contextual information shared during sessions, events, or ongoing communications. 

All notes are handled with strict confidentiality and stored securely. Access is limited to authorized personnel only and governed by our data protection policies.

Marketing

We would like to send (or call) you updates and information about our activities, fundraising efforts, and events. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please email us at info@parakaleo.us

Staff, independent contractors, vendors, and board members

We collect information from our staff, independent contractors, vendors, and board members in order to process invoices, reimbursements, and tax documents. Information collected may include name, address, city, state, zip code, social security number, email, phone number, photo, and short biography. Name, email, photo, and biography may be posted on our website. Data collected is subject to all policy information noted in this privacy policy.
