Basic Training Intensive Nashville
Basic Training Intensive, TAKING GOSPEL DYNAMICS TO YOUR OWN HEART
All Parakaleo training builds off this foundational course that helps us take the truth of the gospel to our own hearts. We use practical, visual tools to make gospel theology easily accessible in the moments of crisis and ministry challenges. In this course we invite you to see your own story in light of God’s bigger story of redemption, identify how the gospel applies to all aspects of life, unmask chosen idolatries, embrace your truest identity & calling, and live this out in community. Sound exhilarating and exhausting? This week is personal, story-based, practical, and surprisingly full of space to rest, play, & create. You just might return home a different person.

If you are driving, we ask that you arrive by 5:30pm (for dinner) the evening of Sunday, October 15th as the training begins at 8:00am on Monday. If you are traveling by plane, travel to and from the Nashville International Airport will be coordinated by Parakaleo. Airport pickup times on Sunday are tentatively scheduled for 11:00am and 3:30pm. Carpooling to the airport to catch return flights will be coordinated onsite.
We will provide notebooks, pens, and all bedding. Please bring your own towels. Nashville weather in October is usually mid 70's in the day and 50's at night. Layering is always a good option. Bring your mud/outdoor boots. Cell phone reception is spotty and there is no TV on the premises so take this opportunity to really retreat from the daily grind; bring a book, workout clothes, or whatever else helps you "retreat" and be refreshed.
What to expect
After you register, you will receive an event confirmation email that will contain a link to the pre-work. The pre-work should be completed prior to the training.
Come expecting interactive, relational, casual and yet, stretching work to bolster courage, confidence and hope for your church planting journeys. Come expecting to be cared for, celebrated and connected to other women involved in church planting!
