What is Parakaleo?

It’s a lifeline for church planting spouses!

It’s a ministry designed to provide ongoing training, coaching, and relational support to empower spouses for their vital role in kingdom work.

Its mission is to strengthen the gospel-spreading impact of church planting by coming alongside church planting spouses, couples and church planting movements.

Come on, is church planting all that different for wives than life is for women in other ministries?

You might as well ask if the job of a Navy SEAL Team Six member is all that different from other roles in the Navy. Not until recent events did many people even know they existed. It’s a lot like church planting. Church planting is definitely not a higher calling than other ministries, it’s just different and requires unique abilities and training.

Why is Parakaleo all that important?

We’ve hit on a vital need in the church planting community.

We’ve designed a training system that can be used and accessed when it’s most needed. It’s not just about lending a listening ear or giving a comforting word. That in itself is incredibly important, but because spouses face unique issues in church planting that they will not face in other arenas of life, it’s critical to have access to tools and resources needed for this challenging calling.
